January was National Oatmeal Month. If you have made a resolution to eat healthier, then oatmeal is still a great option. It’s full of natural healthy ingredients. You can sweeten it to your liking, and know you are treating your body well. Oatmeal is also packed full of nutrients that are good for our bodies. To get the most healthful benefits from your bowl of oatmeal, soak the oats overnight. Soaking the oats overnight aids in digestibility and helps the body absorb the nutrients found in the grain better. Sweetened only with dried fruit and a touch of cinnamon, this hearty oatmeal recipe is packed with good health and good flavor.
